Depending on the situation of the surgery an average procedure of abdominoplasty takes near about 1 to 5 hours.  Whereas a partial abdominoplasty takes about 1 to 2 hours which is also known as mini-tuck abdominoplasty. There are few types of abdominoplasty like complete abdominoplasty, partial abdominoplasty, extended abdominoplasty, high lateral tension abdominoplasty, floating abdominoplasty or fab technique, circumferential abdominoplasty, combination procedures etc. a regular complete abdominoplasty process of first a cut which is made from hip above the pubic area, another cut is made to free the navel from the fat zoned skin, the skin is separated to from the abdominal wall to reveal the muscle to be tightened. Whereas liposuction is often used to correct the transitional zone of the abdominal sculpture and lastly the excess fluid is drained and dressing is applied. On the other hand, the partial abdominoplasty consists of a small cut on the lower problematic area, the skin, and fat of lower abdomen are separated to tighten.
