Abdominoplasty is an easy way to get rid of fat and extra muscles. It has some boons and bane too; people don’t make out time for themselves that is why they go for abdominoplasty.

Abdominoplasty which is also known as tummy tuck has much higher risk compared to other cosmetic surgery procedures, informed by some journalist. On the other hand, combined procedures increase complication rates more than the only abdominoplasty. The study says that 25000 abdominoplasty have been successful between 2008-2013, ninety-seven percent of patients of abdominoplasty are women and rest is men.

Reason of increased complication

Since the surgery itself is full of complications but the rate of complications increased to much higher level when it comes to the age of a person, when a person crosses 60 then their muscles shrink, bones become weak, platelets becomes less which leads to less recovery, age matters in abdominoplasty surgery since it is already complicated and if an aged person opt for such surgeries they will face many problems, leading to abdominoplasty complications like they will recover very slow which means the wounds will recover too slowly as their healing power becomes very weak. The scars will not recover and the muscle will not respond well. They have more chances of having infections, which will lead to more complication.
